The New York Islanders (5-6-5, 15 points, 7th Metro) conclude a four-game West Coast road trip on Saturday with a visit north of the border to play the Calgary Flames (6-8-2, 14 points, 6th Pacific). New York was defeated by the Seattle Kraken 4-3 on Thursday night and the Islanders have lost each of the first three games of their road trip and each of the last seven overall. Calgary defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5-2 on Thursday night for their second consecutive victory and fourth in the last six. New York has two players listed as questionable: RW Julien Gauthier and LW Matt Martin. Calgary will play without D Oliver Kylington, LW Jakob Pelletier and C Kevin Rooney.

The New York Islanders are 30th in goals for, at 2.44. New York is averaging 31.4 shots per game which is 14th and is winning 51.5% of its faceoffs which is 12th.
