The Edmonton Oilers face the Tampa Bay Lightning with both teams looking to improve on rocky starts to the season. The Lightning have a 7-6-4 record and with only four wins in their last 10 games, they have fallen to fifth place in the Atlantic Division. The Oilers have struggled on offense all season long, scoring only 2.87 goals per game but recently, the offense has looked like one of the best in the league, scoring 12 goals in the last three games. Leon Draisaitl, Zach Hyman, and Evander Kane have scored 21 goals and 30 assists but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Cody Ceci and Darnell Nurse have combined for 1.5 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net with ease.
