San Antonio was routed 123-87 by Oklahoma City on the road in their most recent contest Wednesday night, failing to cover the line as a 10-point underdog. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Spurs own a 126-65 advantage, including a 142-134 overtime road win in the most recent matchup on April 2, 2023. Sacramento ran their win streak to four games as they took care of business against the Lakers on the road Wednesday night. The Kings improved to 7-5 on the season and entered Thursday holding a one-game lead over the Lakers and Warriors in the Pacific Division. Against Los Angeles, Sacramento ran to a 13-point lead after the opening quarter and led the rest of the way in the game. The Kings remained up 13 at the half and extended to a 24-point advantage after three quarters. Sacramento didn’t let the Lakers closer than nine in the final stanza, with that coming with 3:05 to play, en route to the win. The Kings shot 50% from the field, including 16 of 44 from three-point range, and forced 23 Lakers turnovers in the game. Domantas Sabonis led Sacramento with 29 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in the victory.
The Kings enter this game 10th in the league in scoring offense with an average of 114.6 points per game. Sacramento is 16th in rebounding with 44.2 boards a contest while the team stands 7th by handing out an average of 27.2 assists per contest.
