It’s a clash of programs from the Lone Star State as they do battle in a Big 12 contest in search of a victory. The Baylor Bears are on the road as they travel to take on the TCU Horned Frogs Saturday afternoon. Baylor was pummeled 59-25 on the road by #25 Kansas State in their previous game last Saturday, failing to cover the line as a 21-point underdog. TCU rallied but fell short as they lost 29-26 at home to #7 Texas last Saturday in their previous game, though they did cover the line as a 13-point underdog. In the all-time series between the teams, the Horned Frogs own a 58-53-7 advantage and have won the last three meetings. That includes a 29-28 win on the road in their most recent contest on November 19, 2022.

I've hit more than 45 parlays in the last few months, totaling over $56,982 in that span. That includes 15 wins since August 28 totali ng $23,536! Looking for my Premium Picks? Don't miss out on another big payday! Click here to get a month of my parlays for only $50 (normally $100)!

Baylor was crushed on the road by #25 Kansas State in their previous contest to suffer their third straight loss in their previous game. The Bears dropped to 3-7 overall and stand tied for ninth with a 2-5 mark in the Big 12. Against Kansas State, Baylor trailed 7-0 early and tied the game at seven on their first drive before reality hit. The Bears gave up 28 unanswered points to trail 35-7 in the second quarter and never got closer than 19 the rest of the way. Baylor was outgained 451-332 in total offense, gave up 22 first downs while picking up 20 and turned the ball over four times while failing to record a takeaway. The Bears held a 32:01 to 27:59 margin in time of possession though that didn’t make up for all the numbers that went against them, including allowing a pick-six and a scoop-six in the game.

For the year, Baylor is 30th in the nation in passing offense as they avera ge 274.2 yards per game through the air. The Bears stand 114th in rushing offense of the 133 FBS teams to take the field this year with an average of 111.1 yards per game. Baylor is 98th in the FBS in scoring offense with 22.9 points per game while the team stands 116th in scoring defense as they allow 32.4 points per contest. Blake Shapen is 164 of 268 passing for 1,991 yards with 12 touchdowns and three interceptions this season. He adds three scores on the ground. Sawyer Robertson (48 of 97, 647 yards, TD, four INT, 33 rush yards, TD) and RJ Martinez (12 of 23, 110 yards, 22 rush yards) are next up on the depth chart. Richard Reese is third on the team on the ground with 60 carries for 264 yards and two scores. Dominic Richardson (98 carries, 428 yards) and Dawson Pendergrass (64 carries, 295 yards, five TD) are also in the mix on the ground game. Monaray Baldwin (35 grabs, 592 yards, three TD) and Hal Presley (17 grabs, 222 yards) are a pair of s olid options this season. Ketron Jackson Jr. (24 catches, 392 yards), Drake Dabney (27 grabs, 452 yards, five TD), Pendergrass (14 catches, 144 yards), Josh Cameron (17 receptions, 179 yards), Jake Roberts (19 grabs, 162 yards, TD), Richardson (18 catches, 133 yards) and Jonah Burton (nine catches, 110 yards) are all over the century mark in receiving yards. Isaiah Hankins is 15 of 17 on extra point attempts and 16 of 21 on field goal attempts with a long of 54 this year.

Presley (lower body) is out until late December while Jackson (head) is probable for this contest after missing the last two games. If both guys are out, it thins the receiving corps out for the Bears.
