The Vegas Golden Knights face the Washington Capitals with both teams off to great starts this season. The Golden Knights have a 12-2-1 record and are in first place in the Pacific Division. The Capitals have a 7-4-2 record and with two wins in a row, they have leaped into third place in the Metropolitan Division. William Karlsson, Jack Eichel, and Mark Stone have scored 18 goals and 29 assists to lead the top two lines but the entire offense has stepped up. In addition, goaltender Adin Hill has stepp ed up with a .939 save percentage and a 1.75 goals-against average on 262 shots with 9.4 goals saved above average.
