The Capitals are having a rough season with their offense struggling, scoring only 2.00 goals per game with only five goals in the last three games. Alexander Ovechkin, Tom Wilson, and Dylan Strome have scored 11 goals and nine assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has struggled. In addition, goaltender Darcy Kuemper has struggled with a .892 save percentage and a 3.07 goals-against average on 232 shots with -2.7 goals saved above average.
