The Hurricanes are having a great season with their offense leading the way, scoring 3.38 goals per game with seven goals in the last two games. Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Martin Necas have scored 10 goals and 13 assists to lead the top line but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Seth Jarvis, Teuvo Teravainen, and Sebastian Aho have combined for 15 goals and 14 assists while defensemen Brady Skjei and Jaccob Slavin have added five goals and 12 assists from the point to put the offense over the top.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.38 goals per game. In addition, goaltender Antti Raanta has struggled with a .877 save percentage and a 2.83 goals-against average on 122 sh ots with -3.3 goals saved above average.
