The Blackhawks are having a rough season with their offense struggling and scoring only 2.36 goals per game. Connor Bedard, Corey Perry, and Ryan Donato have scored 10 goals and 10 assists but the rest of the offense has struggled. Only three skaters have 10 goals or more and opposing defenses can eliminate the hapless offense as a result.

The offense has struggled but the defense has unraveled, allowing 3.45 goals per game with 14 goals in the last three games. Alex Vlasic and Seth Jones have combined for 1.3 defensive point shares, but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to easily find open shots on the net.
