Two Western Conference rivals meet on the ice Thursday when the Seattle Kraken (4-6-3, 11 points, 5th Pacific) pay a visit to Mile High City and Ball Arena to play the Colorado Avalanche (8-3-0, 16 points, 1st Central). Seattle was defeated by the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 on Tuesday night and has lost two straight. Colorado defeated the New Jersey Devils 6-3 on Tuesday night and the Avalanche have won two of the last three which has helped them leapfrog Dallas into first place in the Central division.
