The Cleveland Cavaliers are starting to get back all their key pieces and, as a result, they are starting to look more and more like the team that won more than 50 games last season. On Sunday night, the Cavs ended a 16-game losing streak to the Warriors with a 115-104 victory. The Cavs were led once again by Donovan Mitchell who scored 31 points while also dishing out 7 assists. Darius Garland, who recently returned from injury, added 24 points and 7 assists of his own in the win. Newcomer Max Strus poured in 15 points and Evan Mobley gave the Cavs a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds. It also marked the first home win for the Cavs this season after three straight losses to start the season.

“It’s a hell of a feeling,” Mitchell said. “I know this is a rivalry, so I know how much this one meant to the fans. We’re trying to ultimately get to the level they’ve been at for a long time, and we put together a full game tonight.”

The Cavs have struggled to score to start the season, ranking just 28th in the NBA in scoring. Now, with its full compliment of players, the Cavs should see an increase in points as evidenced by the 115 points against the Warriors. Cleveland has struggled from the field thus far, ranking 25th in field goal percentage overall and 26th in 3-point field goal percentage. Cleveland has been very good on the defensive end, however, ranking fifth in opponent's field goal percentage. The Cavs are also sixth in turnovers per game.

Key Injuries: SG Sam Merrill (illness), SG Ty Jerome (ankle), and SF Isaac Okoro (knee) is out.
