College football games to look forward to in Week 10
The biggest game on the Week 10 college football slate features the Alabama Crimson Tide hosting the LSU Tigers in a game with serious stakes in the SEC. But we're also going to see the Oklahoma Sooners facing the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Bedlam Series. That rivalry is about to lose some steam with Oklahoma heading to the SEC, but that should only make this year's game more dramatic. Week 10 Games of the Week
Kansas State is suddenly playing some great football, as the Wildcats have won and covered in three consecutive games. Kansas State has also allowed just three points over the last two weeks, and the team will now like its chances of slowing down a Texas offense that will not have Quinn Ewers under center. The Longhorns star has a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder, and that will make it hard on this team to score against a great Wildcats defense. Kansas State will likely load the box to slow down running back Jonathon Brooks, who has rushed for an average of 135.7 yards per game over the last six weeks. That means that this game could come down to the performance of Texas backup quarterback Maalik Murphy. If he can successfully throw against soft coverages, the Longhorns will likely cover here. But it should be noted that Kansas State is 15-6 against the spread over the last two seasons. The team is also 8-7 both straight-up and ATS when facing teams with winning percenta ges of 75.0% or better under head coach Chris Klieman.
