The Cincinnati Bengals (3-3, 2-3-1 ATS, 2-4 O/U) take on the San Francisco 49ers (5-2, 4-3 ATS, 3-3-1 O/U) in an inter-conference showdown on Sunday afternoon. The Bengals posted a road win against the Seahawks before their bye last week. The 49ers were dealt a road loss by the Vikings in their previous bout. These squads last met in 2021 in a game the 49ers won.

The Cincinnati Bengals are in a groove. They were just 1-3 after the opening four games of the season but have replied by winning three of their last four games. Cincinnati beat the Cardinals by a 34-20 score in week five and were three-point favorites in a 17-13 home win against the Seahawks in week six. The squad enjoyed their bye last week. The Bengals' disastrous start was due primarily to Joe Burrow playing through an injury. The Bengals have covered in two of their last three games.

Joe Burrow was brilliant in the win against the Cardinals on the 8th, posting 317 passing yards. He wasn’t as productive against the Seahawks, amassing just 185 yards. The 26-year-old QB has recorded 1230 passing yards and a 7:4 TD to INT ratio on the season.

The Bengals running game has been kept in check this season, ranking 30th. Joe Mixon has yet to reach 100 rushing yar ds in a game. His best output was 81 yards in the win against the Cardinals. The 27-year-old RB has 366 rushing yards on only 3.8 yards per rush. Je’Marr Chase has the ability to exploit any opposing corner. The 23-year-old star has brought in at least 80 receiving yards in three of his last four games and has collected 556 receiving yards on the year. The Bengals offense has scored more than 20 points just twice this season.

The Bengals' defense had an inconsistent opening month of the season but has been outstanding in their last two victories. They held the Cardinals to 294 total yards while they conceded 384 yards against the Seahawks, the group only gave up 13 points, marking their best game of the season. The pass defense is ranked 13th while the rush defense is at 29th.

Cincinnati is averaging 16.7 points on the year, pegging them 28th. They are conceding an average of 21.2 points, placing them 18th.
