The Wild are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 4.17 goals per game. Joes Eriksson Ek, Kirill Kaprizov, and Mats Zuccarello have scored nine goals and 18 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Ryan Hartman, Marcus Johansson, and Pat Maroon have combined for five goals and 10 assists while defensemen Jacob Middleton and Jonas Brodin have added a goal and seven assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has been awful, allowing 4.17 goals per game. Jonas Brodin and Brock Faber have led the top two pairings with 27 blocked shots but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to easily find open shots on the net. In addition, goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has struggled with a .868 save percentage and a 3.55 goals-against average on 53 shots.
