The Washington Wizards (35-47 SU, 37-41-4 ATS, 41-39-2 O/U) and Indiana Pacers (35-47 SU, 42-39-1 ATS 42-39-1 O/U) will be trying to kick off their season with a win when they play on Wednesday night. The game will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and it is scheduled to begin at 7 PM. ET.

Washington is 6-4 in its last 10 games against Indiana.

The Wizards turned the page on the Bradley Beal era, trading their All-Star guard in the offseason. They picked up former Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole in the trade and they’re hoping he along with Kyle Kuzma can help them get the franchise back on track.

The Wizards also acquired veterans like Danilo Gallinari and Tyus Jones, who will give them some much needed depth.

Washington averaged 113.2 points per game last season. They made 48.5 percent of their field goals and 35.6 percent of their field goals.

Kyle Kuzma was Washington’s third-leading scorer last season, averaging 21.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. With the team losing their top two scorers from last season, expect Kuzma to put up big offensive numbers this season.

Jordan Poole averaged a little less than Kuzma averaged last season, but he wi ll have a bigger impact on offense if he plays as well as he did in the 2021-22 season.

Washington was average defensively last season, giving up 114.4 points per game. They will have to play better than they did last season if they want to win this game.

Kyle Kuzma (Calf) is questionable for this game.
