Aristides Aquino led the way for the Cincinnati offense with a pinch hit Grand Slam in the 6th inning, while five other Cincinnati players drove in one run each.
The Chicago Cubs go back home Wednesday night 22 games under .500 after losing four of the last five games played including three in a row after a 2-0 loss to the Cardinals. Marcus Stroman got to start for Chicago and pitched well giving up no runs on four hits across 7 innings of work, but Brandon Hughes came on in relief to allow two runs on two hits after recording only two outs leading to the loss.
