The Kansas City Royals host the Cleveland Guardians for the final game of a three-game series Sept. 7. Cleveland leads the season series 7-4 after winning 6-5 on Monday.

Kansas City's starter is Zack Greinke, who is 4-8 with a 4.14 earned run average over 108.2 innings pitched. He has faced Cleveland twice this season. Greinke did not factor in the decision in his April 7 start against the Guardians, but the Royals won 3-1 as he pitched 5.2 innings and allowed just one run, five hits and a walk. He got the win against Cleveland on July 10 with six shutout innings and only three hits and one walk. This will be Greinke's first start since going on the injured list Aug. 21.

Cleveland will start with rookie Cody Morris on the mound. Morris took the loss in his debut Sept. 2 vs. Seattle, leaving after facing 13 batters over two innings and giving up four hits and two runs. He threw 54 pitches against the Mariners and is expected to throw around 60 pitches in this game.
