There is football every day for the next few weeks thanks to college football adding Tuesday and Wednesday games. Conference-USA helps to kickoff the Tuesday games with two of their best teams when the Liberty Flames (5-0, 4-1 ATS, 3-0 C-USA) travel to take on the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (5-1, 4-1-1 ATS, 3-0 C-USA). Liberty just held off Sam Houston at home winning 21-16, but were far from covering the 21-point spread. Jacksonville State just won on the road at Middle Tennessee 45-30 as 2.5-point underdogs. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 from Burgess-Snow Field in Jacksonville, Alabama and can be found on ESPNU.
The Liberty Flames are one of only 14 remaining unbeaten teams in college football. Their most impressive win of the season came on the road at Buffalo, where the Flames dominated the Bulls 55-27 as only three point favorites. Their last game was much closer than expected, Sam Houston is still searching for their first win, but stayed within five of Liberty. CJ Daniels is a 6'2 junior receiver leading the team with 16 catches for 84 yards per game and three touchdowns. Treon Sibley is another capable receiver for the Flames, he averages 64 yards per game and hit a 56-yard touchdown in their big win over Buffalo.
Liberty leads their conference in scoring with 36.2 points per game, and rank second defensively allowing only 18.0 per game. The defense is led by senior linebacker Tyren Dupree, he leads the team in tackles with 41, and also has a sack and two interceptions.
