Missouri bettors are having a rough day.
In one of the most bet-on games of the day, LSU vs. Missouri ended in a way that rarely happens in college football.
The Missouri Tigers had the ball on their own five-yard line and were down 42-39 with 41 seconds left on the clock. Most Missouri bettors had Mizzou +5.5 or +6. If you had Mizzou, you were likely feeling pretty good at this point.
They could either score a touchdown and win the game, kick a field goal to go to overtime or turn it over, at which point LSU would kneel it out and take the three-point win. The worst thing that could happen would be a turnover that resulted in a touchdown. LSU wasn't likely to score if its offense had the ball.
