The nonconference games are mostly over and now conference games begin in the American Athletic Conference as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane host the Temple Owls. Both of these come in with records of 2-2. Tulsa has won the last two meetings, including a 27-16 win last season, but Temple covered as a 14 point underdog. Tulsa is favored by 5.5 points in this one. Kickoff is at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Temple Owls are 2-2 but their two losses came against power conference teams and they were blown out in each. The Owls are averaging 19.8 points per game, which ranks 117th in the nation. In terms of total offense, they generate 365.5 yards per game, which ranks 87th. That breaks down to 258 yards per game passing (49th) and 107.5 yards per game on the ground (117th). Defensively, they give up 26. 8 yards per game, which ranks 85th. The Owls give up 183.3 yards per game in the air, which ranks 28th in the nation, and 195.3 yards per game on the ground, which ranks 118th.
