Steelers vs. Raiders Predictions, Picks, Odds Week 3 – Sunday Night Football
Steelers vs. Raiders Predictions, Picks, Odds Week 3 – Sunday Night Footballiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

We're anticipating the Pittsburgh Steelers covering the spread on Sunday Night Football against the Las Vegas Raiders in our top Steelers vs. Raiders predictions based on the NFL odds from our best sports betting apps.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' offense has been a mess, and their defense has accounted for two of the four Pittsburgh touchdowns through two weeks.

Still, a trip to Allegiant Stadium to face the Las Vegas Raiders could be exactly what the doctor ordered for quarterback Kenny Pickett, offensive coordinator Matt Canada and company. The Raiders were lit up for 450 yards and 29 first downs in their 38-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills last week.

To accompany our NFL best bets for Week 3 and all of our NFL Week 3 predictions, here is our best Steelers-Raiders prediction for Sunday Night Football (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Steelers vs. Raiders prediction: Sunday Night Football

After their first-string offense scored touchdowns on all five of its drives in exhibition action, the Steelers haven't come close to matching that production in their first two regular-season contests. Pittsburgh scored just one TD in its season opener against San Francisco and then saw the defense account for two of its three majors in Monday's dramatic 26-22 win over Cleveland.

That has oddsmakers, bettors and fans down on the Steelers' offense, to the point that spectators were chanting for Pittsburgh to fire offensive coordinator Matt Canada on Monday night. However, it's important to note that the Steelers' first two games came against arguably the best defenses in each conference. Expect Pickett to look a lot better against a Vegas stop unit that was gashed for 29 first downs and 38 points last week in Buffalo. A rebou nd for the team's passing attack is why our Rodrigo Villagomez likes a George Pickens prop in his Steelers-Raiders player props.

Defensively, the Steelers are still the Steelers. Linebackers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith both scored touchdowns last week as Pittsburgh racked up six sacks and harassed Deshaun Watson into several critical mistakes. Look for them to do the same Sunday night against Jimmy Garoppolo.

If you're not interested in paying extra vig for the +3 and like the Steelers' chances of winning outright, Caesars offered the best price out of our top books on Pittsburgh moneyline, listing the Black and Gold at +126.

Steelers vs. Raiders odds analysis

Pittsburgh opened as a slight 1-point favorite at most sportsbooks before action on the host Raiders flipped the line to Las Vegas as chalk. The Raiders were bet up to a full field goal favorite at some shops, although many have held firm at Las Vegas -2.5.

The Under has also drawn attention, dropping from an opener of 44 to 42.5 in some spots as bettors reacted to the Steelers' offensive struggles Monday night.
