The Arizona Wildcats (2-1, 3-0 ATS, 0-3 O/U) meet with the Stanford Cardinal (1-2, 1-2 ATS, 1-2 O/U) in a PAC-12 bout on Saturday night. The Wildcats recorded a home win against UTEP last time out. The Cardinal were dealt an ugly home loss by Sacramento State in their previous clash. These rivals last met in 2019 in a game Stanford won 41-31.

The Arizona Wildcats head into their conference opener with a 2-1 record. Arizona easily beat Northern Arizona in the opener. The squad could be 3-0 but were dealt a narrow 31-24 overtime road loss against Mississippi State in week two in a bout that had the Wildcats marked as nine-point dogs. Arizona collected a 31-10 home win against UTEP last week to cover the 18-point spread. The Wildcats were voted to finish 8th in the conference preseason media poll.

Jayden De Laura has been productive after three games. The junior QB has recorded at least 280 passing yards in all three performances including 342 against Mississippi State. He now has 912 passing yards accompanied by eight touchdowns but has already chucked five picks.

Michael Wiley had his best game of the young season on Saturday, rushing for 83 yards. The senior R B had 771 rushing yards in 2022 and already has 168 rushing yards on an average of 4.4 yards per rush. Tetairoa McMillan is having an outstanding season. The sophomore RB brought in 161 yards in the game against Mississippi State and has 315 receiving yards on the year. The Arizona offense is averaging a remarkable 485 yards per game. While two of their three bouts were against weak opponents it’s something to keep an eye on.
