One of the best receivers in the league last season will be on display when Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
The Chargers were defeated by the Tennessee Titans 27-24 in their last game. Against the Titans, Justin Herbert led the Bolts with 305 yards on 27-of-41 passing (65.9%) for two touchdowns and no interceptions. Joshua Kelley took 13 carries for 39 yards (3.0 yards per carry). Keenan Allen led the receiving charge against the Titans, catching eight passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
The Vikings’ last game was a 34-28 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Kirk Cousins’ performance for the Vikes against the Eagles included 31-of-44 passing for 364 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Alexander Mattison carried the ball eight times for 28 yards (3.5 yards per attempt). In the passing game, he added three catches for 11 yards. Jefferson caught 11 passes for 159 yards (14.5 yards per catch).
