The Washington Nationals and New York Mets face off on Sunday in an MLB showdown at Citi Field. The two teams have split the first two games of this series.
The Nationals come into this game with a 46-87 record overall but they scored seven runs on Saturday and that was enough to secure the victory. The Mets offense has been the strength overall this season averaging 4.69 runs per game. The pitching staff has also been impressive and is currently ranked 4th in terms of runs given up. Pete Alonso is having a big season hitting 32 home runs and driving in 106 RBIs.
