The Boston Red Sox wrap up their series on Wednesday against the Mariners as well as this West Coast trip. The Red Sox are coming off a hot stretch in which the team went a season-high nine games over .500 and moved within a game of a wildcard spot. Since then, however, the Red Sox and their offense have cooled considerably. Boston dropped two of three games at San Francisco and followed that up with a 6-2 loss in the series opener against the Mariners.

The Red Sox will go with righty Kutter Crawford in the final game of the series against the Mariners. Crawford is 5-5 in 20 appearances this season including 12 starts. He has given up 66 hits in 77 innings pitched with an ERA of 3.86. Crawford has a K/9 rate of 8.9 and a WHIP of 1.09 thus far. Crawford is 1-1 in his last three starts with an ERA of 2.87. He has allowed just eight hits in 15.2 innings pitched with a K/9 rate of 10.3 and a WHIP of 0.83.

Key Injuries: C Reese McGuire is out and IF/DH Justin Turner is day-to-day.
