The Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays will play Tuesday at Tropicana Field. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET.
Miami (54-47 SU and 47-52 RL) is starting righty Edward Cabrera. The 25-year-old is 5-5 with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP in 15 outings this season.
Tampa Bay (61-42 SU and 52-49 RL) is countering with right-hander Tyler Glasnow. The 29-year-old is 3-3 with a 3.62 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP in ten starts.

Miami finally picked up a win on Sunday, snapping an eight-game losing streak. Still, the Marlins are in the thick of the Wild Card race and have plenty of time to start swimming in the right direction.
The Fins score 4.10 runs per game (27th) and hit .264 (4th) with a .720 OPS (18th). They've hit 91 homers (26th) and stolen 58 bases (23rd) this year. The Miami pitching staff has compiled a 4.11 ERA (13th) and a 1.27 WHIP (15th) with 32 quality starts (19th).

Cabrera will take the mound for the visitors on Tuesday evening. The third-year pro held St. Louis to one run and only two hits in his last start, a five-inning no-decision. It was his first appearance since June 13 (five runs in four innings vs. Seattle) due to a shoulder injury. Cabrera has three quality starts and a 90:44 K:BB ratio in 2023.
