Los Angeles Angels (41-35) vs. Colorado Rockies (29-48)
The 2023 Major League Baseball season continues Saturday, June 24, with the Los Angeles Angels taking on the Colorado Rockies in the interleague battle at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, and the first pitch is set for 9:10 PM ET.
It’s the middle contest of a three-game series between the Halos and Rocks, and Friday’s opener has been excluded from the analysis. The Angels are -151 moneyline favorites for Saturday’s game, while the totals sit at 12.0 runs.
The Los Angeles Angels started this week with a two-game home series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Halos suffered a couple of 2-0 losses, falling to 41-35 on the season. They were third in the AL West on Friday, half a game behind the Houston Astros and six behind the Texas Rangers.
The Angels had won four consecutive sets before the Dodgers series. They are slashing .232/.315/.458 with 26 doubles and 22 home runs in the last couple of weeks and 406 at-bats. The Halos’ bullpen has thrown 40 innings in that span while posting an underwhelming 4.05 ERA and 5.30 FIP.
