Atlanta Falcons 2022 futures: Super Bowl odds, win total picks, best bets, schedule and more

Sorry Falcons fans, the oddsmakers absolutely hate your team in 2022. Apparently the offseason quarterback change from Matt Ryan to Marcus Mariota did the opposite of inspire confidence in this team. The Calvin Ridley year-long suspension didn't help either, though the receivers are interesting with second-year tight end Kyle Pitts flanked by wideouts Bryan Edwards (from Las Vegas) and highly touted first round rookie Drake London.

With a subpar offense on paper and a defense that also doesn't appear to be above league average, this clearly looks to be a rebuilding year for Atlanta. Caesars Sportsbook puts the Falcons' Super Bowl championship odds as the lowest in the league, tied with the lowly Houston Texans at +25000. Incredibly Caesars pegs THIRTEEN NFL teams as having better odds to win the Super Bowl than the Falcons to win the NFC South!

The schedule also puts Atlanta at a distinct disadvantage with a Week 14 bye week. The Falcons face both reigning Super Bowl teams in the first seven weeks as well as NFC powers Tampa Bay and San Francisco. It would be a surprise if Atlanta started better than 2-5, but if they can manage to stay afloat through that stretch, they'll only face two 2021 playoff teams the rest of the way.

Seemingly the best-case scenario for Atlanta fans in 2022 is for your team to win a few games, develop the young players on both sides of the ball, and be in a prime position to draft their quarterback of the future in a stacked 2023 draft.
