San Diego has not been able to live up to expectations this season. They have not been able to record any extended winning streaks. The Padres won two of four home clashes against the Cubs last weekend and posted one victory in two encounters against the Mariners this week. The squad is 5-5 in their last ten games.

Fernando Tatis Jr. is swinging a hot bat, delivering two homers along with 10 RBIs and a 1 OPS this month. The 24-year-old star has 11 big flies with 29 RBIs and a . 797 OPS on the year.
