The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels face off on Tuesday in an MLB showdown at Angel Stadium. On Monday it was the Angels that were able to secure the 4-3 victory.
The Yankees come into this game with a 78-50 record overall but they have been struggling the last week with their offense. The Yankees offense overall has been the strength and they are currently averaging five runs per game which is second best in the league. The pitching is giving up only 3.84 runs per game which is 3rd in the league. Aaron Judge should be named the MVP after the season and he has hit 49 home runs and driven in 109 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Angels who sit with a 56-73 record overall and they have won four games in a row including a series sweep over the Toronto Blue Jays. The Angles offense has really struggled this season averaging 3.82 runs per game which is 25th in baseball. With as much talent as the offense has, it’s pretty unacceptable how bad they have been. Shohei Ohtani hias hit 28 home runs and driven in 77 RBIs.
