The LSU Tigers open the 2022 regular season looking to redeem themselves after finishing 2021 one game under .500 after a 22 point blowout loss in the TaxAct Bowl to Kansas State. The LSU defense was toasted by Kansas State as the Wildcats gained over 440 yards to score 42 points in the game including 21 in both halves.
