They say Game 7 are the two greatest words in sports, but if you are a fan of the teams in a game 7, they are the most nerve-wracking words in sports. But here we go — the Celtics host the Sixers in Game 7 Sunday at TD Garden. Tipoff for this win or go home game is at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The Celtics are favored by 7 points.

The Sixers had a golden opportunity to advance to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since Allen Iverson wore the uniform, as they took a 3-2 game into game 6 at home. They inexplicably got off to a slow start and let the Celtics jump out to a lead, but closed the gape and made a run in the second half. They took the lead in the fourth quarter, but then Jayson Tatum went off, scoring 16 points down the stretch to give the Celtics a 95-86 win and knot the series at 3-3.

“We know what we got to do,” said Joel Embiid, on game 7, reported ESPN. “We've gone on the road and we've won. It's not going to be easy in that environment, but it's the same thing. Everybody has to step up, starting with me. I got to be more aggressive, as far as shooting and making sure I get my teammates looks and everybody else has to do their job and everybody has to show up.” Embiid led the Sixers with 26 points and 10 rebounds, but didn't get a shot off in the last four minutes. Tyrese Maxey also added 26 points while James Harden had 13.
