Game 4 was the Lonnie Walker game, but despite all the hype surrounding Walker, the fact that the Lakers received 21 points from Reaves went largely unnoticed. Additionally, it's worth noting that Walker didn't replace Reaves in the lineup; rather, it was D'Angelo Russell's minutes that were affected. Reaves was on the court during crucial moments, which speaks volumes about how much coach Darvin Ham trusts him.
Reaves is projected to score 14.9 points against the Warriors on Wednesday, which allows us to price the Over 13.5 points at -125. While this bet may appear to offer only a small edge in cents, it actually represents a positive expected value of 8%.
However, it should be noted that this edge in Reaves pricing is not available at every sportsbook. Both BetMGM and DraftKings are trading the Over at -130, which is even shorter than our price of -125. To take advantage of this edge, one must shop at BetRivers (-106) or even FanDuel, which keeps adjusting its price between -104 and -113.
