William Nylander is among the Maple Leafs star players that have been absent in this series. If it is any consolation, he has arguably looked the best of said players. Nylander had 7 shots on goal in Game 1, 6 shots on goal in Game 2, and an assist and +1 rating in Game 3. He is at least playing with a little bit of jam which is more than could be said for some of his teammates. The Maple Leafs are due with Nylander arguably being the most due. He has 8 points in 9 games these playoffs. But it was frontloaded as he had 7 points in the first 4 games. Toronto is going to play with the most urgency they have all season long. If they can generate their usual level of offense, Nylander will be right in the mix.
