NHL Player Props & Best Bets – Schedule, Picks for Monday's Stanley Cup Playoffs Actioniv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The Round 2 series between the Edmonton Oilers and Vegas Golden Knights is tied 1-1, and all eyes will be on Monday's star-studded showdown at Rogers Place. Sportsbook Review betting analyst Neil Parker shares his top NHL picks for the matchup based on the NHL odds across our best sports betting sites.

It's a standalone Monday in the NHL, and the Oilers are a chalky, home-ice favorite against the visiting Golden Knights.

Edmonton has already piled up five power-play goals on just nine opportunities during the series, and Oil superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are building Conn Smythe momentum while combining for eight tallies through the first two games.

There's also been no shortage of animosity brewing, either. The two teams combined for 124 penalty minutes in Game 2, and they traded plenty of post-game barbs after th e penalty-filled bout.

Here are our NHL best bets for Monday (odds via DraftKings and Caesars; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Monday's NHL player prop picks

A two-game downtick in Bouchard's shots and attempts to finish Round 1 has provided an opportunity to land plus-money odds on this Over ahead of Monday's Game 3.

He's failed to top this shot total in four consecutive contests, but his attempts per 60 minutes (19.8) through the first two games against Vegas aren't too far off his 21.3 mark across the first four games of the playoffs.

We're landing these odds because Bouchard failed to record a single shot and registered just two attempts through the final two games of Round 1. Two outliers don't trump his other six postseason showings.

Bouchard is locked in as the quarterback of the No. 1 power-play unit, and he's logging the second-most minutes per game (22:16) among Edmonton blueliners. There will be no shortage of opportunities for him to pad the shots column.

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars PointsBet
+135 ?? +134 +130 N/A +120 ??

There's a small edge provided through securing the best odds available through our best live betting sites. The difference between the +135 through DraftKings presents a positive expected value of 7%. If the gap was wider I'd grade this as a four-star recommendation.

It's been a down postseason for the veteran winger. Marchessault has been held to just a pair of assists through seven games and is still looking for his first goal of the playoffs.

He's a proven scorer with 58 tallies and a 12.0 shooting percentage across 152 games the past two regular seasons, and he found the back of the net 21 times with a 9.5 shooting percentage through the past four playoff runs with the Golden Knights.

Marchessault ranks second in both high-danger scoring chances (11) and individual expected goals (2.67) on the Golden Knights during the playoffs, and he's been dangerous without being rewarded through the first two games of Round 2 against Edmonton.

He's recorded a team-high six high-danger scoring chances and ranks second in individual expected goals (1.14) during the series.

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars PointsBet
+180 +210 +180 +245 ?? +180

There's a huge edge in the odds across our best NHL betting sites, with the +245 price offering a positive expected value of 23%. That's also a difference of $6.50 of added profit on a $10 bet. I also value that Pinnacle has a Marchessault anytime goal priced at +238, which reinforces the edge we're landing with the number Caesars is hanging.

If you're looking for alternative Marchessault options, his shot prop total is 2.5 with DraftKings offering the best price on the Over at -140. Additionally, he's also priced at a long +440 to record a power-play point through FanDuel.
