The Edmonton Oilers face the Vegas Golden Knights in Game Two of the Second Round. The Oilers struggled in Game One and hope to bounce back to avoid falling into a 0-2 series hole. The Golden Knights meanwhile took the first game 6-4 and look to win the upcoming game on home ice as well to take a commanding 2-0 series lead. The Oilers are hoping to even up the series while the Golden Knights look to take a commanding series lead and the upcoming game should be a great one.

The Oilers made Game One close but came up on the losing end despite their offense, which scored 25 goals in the First Round, scoring four goals in the game. Leon Draisaitl, who has 11 goals and four assists, scored four goals but the rest of the offense stepped up as well. Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman added four assists while defensemen Mattias Ekholm and Evan Bouchard added four assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense struggled in the first game, allowing six goals including three goals in the third period to let the game slip away. Darnell Nurse, Evan Bouchard, and Mattias Ekholm have led the top two pairings but the rest of the unit struggled, allowing the Golden Knights to find open shots on the net at will. Additionally, goaltender Stuart Skinner struggled in Game One, allowing five goals on 33 shots.
