The second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is set to begin. Read on for our NHL best bets for Tuesday based on the best NHL odds.
The first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs was a whirlwind and now only eight teams are left standing. Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Florida Panthers in the Atlantic Division final while the Seattle Kraken travel to face the Dallas Stars.

Tuesday's NHL player prop picks
Rielly has stepped up on the Toronto blue line in the playoffs. After being held off the scoresheet in Game 1, the defenseman had a point in each of the final five games in the opening round.
As the quarterback of the top power-play unit for the Leafs, Rielly should be able to do some damage against Florida. The Panthers allowed multiple power-play goals in each of the final four games against the Brui ns.
This line is as high as -146 (FanDuel) and -136 (BetMGM) at our best NHL betting sites, so we're getting a bit of value by playing this at DraftKings. The real value comes from Rielly's 20-plus minutes a night and the Panthers' weak penalty kill.
Tkachuk is the Panthers' best player and also the engine that keeps them running. He had 11 points (five goals, six assists) in Florida's first-round series against the Bruins.
The Panthers forward finished the series hot with eight points (four goals) in the final four games as well.
Tkachuk is as low as +125 (DraftKings) to score and the next-best price is +134 (FanDuel), so we're getting over 20 cents of value here.

Tuesday's NHL game picks
The Maple Leafs had the second-best power play in the regular season (26%) with the Panthers not too far behind down at 10th (22.8%). Furthermore, neither team had a particularly strong penalty kill in the regular season with Florida having the 10th-worst (76%) while Toronto was in the top 12 (81.9%).
Those trends have more or less continued in the playoffs with the Leafs scoring at a 28.6% clip and the Panthers up to 25%, granted it is a smaller sample size.
There were at least three power-play goals in each of the Panthers' last four games and while the Leafs are just two for their last 11 on the man advantage, they opened the playoffs hot with four PPG in the first two games.
The Kraken surprised a lot of people in the first round by taking out the reigning Stanley Cup champions. They are once again underdogs in this series as well as Game 1.
The Stars may be the better team but the Kraken are playing better hockey right now after shutting down Colorado. Philipp Grubauer is playing especially with a 2.44 GAA and .926 SV% through seven games.
Seattle still isn't getting the respect it deserves by the best sportsbooks after beating Colorado in the first round. This line has moved up from +140 to +155, with BetMGM
