Boston Bruins vs. Florida Panthers Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 4-28-2023

The Boston Bruins face the Florida Panthers in Game Six of the First Round. The Bruins could have clinched the series on their home ice but lost Game Five in overtime. The Panthers were on the ropes but stole Game Five and look to even up the series and force a winner-take-all game with a win on their home ice. The Bruins look to advance to the Second Round while the Panthers hope to keep their season alive and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

The Bruins are one win away from advancing to the Second Round with their offense leading the way in this series, scoring 19 goals including 13 goals in the last three games. Taylor Hall, Brad Marchand, and Tyler Bertuzzi have scored 11 goals and nine assists to lead the top two lines but the entire offense has stepped up in this series. Jake DeBrusk, Pavel Zacha, and Marcus Foligno have combined for four goals and eight assists while defensemen Dmitry Orlov and Charlie McAvoy have added eight assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled recently, allowing 15 goals in the series including four goals in Game Five. McAvoy, Orlov, and Hampus Lindholm have led the top two pairings but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing the Panthers to carry the puck into the offensive zone and create open shots on the net. The bright spot has been the play of goaltender Linus Ullmark who has saved 146 of the 160 shots he's faced.
