The Los Angeles Dodgers came into this one after winning their last three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the best overall teams in the MLB this season, as they currently hold the number one seed in the NL Playoffs. The Dodgers have also gone 7-3 in their last 10, as they continue to stack wins on top of each other. They are leading the NL West by 19.0 games, as they have a serious leg up on the rest of the division.

At the plate, the Dodgers are scoring 5.48 runs per game and they are hitting .263 as a team. This is the most runs scored per game and the highest overall team batting average. They can string together hits and they have also been great with runners in scoring position. Los Angeles isn't afraid to show off its power either. In his last start, he pitched for 5.0 innings and only gave up three hits and one earned run to the Brewers. Gonsolin has also been a man on a mission on the road. Outside of Dodgers Stadium, he is 7-0 with a 2.66 ERA. The Dodgers bullpen has been tough to beat this season, as well.
