Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 8-28-2022

The Los Angeles Dodgers (87-37, 78-46 RL, 51-61-12 O/U) and the Miami Marlins (54-71, 55-69 RL, 52-67-5 O/U) conclude a three-game series on Sunday afternoon. The Dodgers send Julio Urias to the mound, aiming for his ninth road win. The Marlins will reply with a confident Edward Cabrera. The Dodgers lead the season series 4-0.

Julio Urias will take the mound in the series finale. Urias was in a groove in his latest effort, limiting the Brewers to only one run in six innings, but received no help from the offense and was tagged with the loss. The southpaw has been one of the best pitchers in the NL this month, recording a minuscule 0.85 ERA in August and is sporting a 2.36 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP accompanied by a 13-7 record in 133.2 innings of action. Urias has not pitched against the fish this season and has squandered eight runs in 9.1 career innings against the Marlins.

The Dodgers are in the midst of a seven-game road trip. They earned two wins in four meetings in Milwaukee in their previous road series and are now 21 games above .500 on the road. LA has won six out of their last seven games overall entering Saturday.

Max Muncy is having his best month of the season, registering a whopping 19 RBIs and a dazzling 1.03 OPS. The veteran slugger has poor numbers on the season, hitting .188 with 51 RBIs and a .703 OPS. Muncy is a 4 for 12 with four RBIs against the Marlins this season.

The Dodgers are posting 5.45 runs per game which continues to lead all teams. They enter with a stifling 2.86 team ERA.
