The Philadelphia Phillies appear to be going through what’s known as a World Series hangover. Philadelphia lost the Fall Classic to the Houston Astros in six games last October and the start of this season couldn’t be going much worse for them.
Superstar outfielder Bryce Harper is still on the injured list. First baseman Rhys Hoskins suffered a season-ending knee injury in spring training and his replacement Darick Hall tore a ligament in his thumb in the first week of the regular season.
The Phillies are 8-12 and sit in fourth place in the highly competitive National League Eastern division. They’ll look to get back on track at home against the Colorado Rockies, who have the fourth-fewest wins in all of baseball at 6-14.
