Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 4-20-2023

This California rivalry moves to the Bay area where the Golden State Warriors face a must-win situation in their best-of-seven first round series against the Sacramento Kings. The Kings held serve, winning the first two games in their own building to take a 2-0 series lead. Game 3 tips off Thursday night at 10:00 p.m. EDT at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Kings fans couldn't have asked for anything more from their beloved Kings as the home team dominated the defending champs in the first two games to take a 2-0 series lead. At the same time, they proved many critics wrong, as many felt that the Warriors would take care of business in at least one game against the upstart Kings. But the Kings put that notion to rest with a convincing 114-106 win over Golden State Tuesday as a 2 point underdog.

The Warriors out shot the Kings and made more threes, but the Kings got to the foul line 11 more times, and made 6 more free throws, and they had 11 steals, generating 20 Golden State turnovers to just 14 for Sacramento. Also, the Kings had three more offensive rebounds. Damontas Sabonis had a nice bounce back game with 24 points and 9 rebounds while De'Aaron Fox had 24 points and 9 assists. Malik Monk, the star of game 1, stepped up once again, delivering 18 points off the bench, while Kevin Huerter had 15 points. Davion Mitchell added 14 points, but it was his defense on Steph Curry that made the biggest impact. No one key is on the injury report for Sacramento for Thursday.
