After a disappointing loss to the Knicks in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series on Saturday, the Cavaliers promised they would punch back in Game 2 and they did just that, hammering New York, 107-90, Tuesday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Donovan Mitchell, who handled the bulk of the scoring in the Game 1 loss, got the help he needed in Game 2, with Darius Garland stepping up with 32 points and Caris LeVert adding 24 points off the bench. Mitchell scored 17 points and had 13 assists after his 38-point Game 1 explosion.
