Their offense has continued to fall in the MLB team batting average rankings, dropping all the way to No. 28 with an average of .226. Shohei Ohtani leads the way with 117 hits and 73 RBIs, hitting 27 home runs. Center fielder Mike Trout has added 26 home runs in his 85 games played. They are facing a Toronto pitching staff that is No. 13 with an ERA of 3.83. Ohtani is going to be on the mound for Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon. He was removed from his start last Sunday due to a stomach virus after allowing three earned runs on five hits and four walks. Ohtani comes into this game with a 10-8 record and a 2.83 ERA overall.
