The end of the regular season is finally upon us. With all 30 teams in action tonight, there are plenty games to choose from for our mega parlay. The end of the regular season can spring up plenty of surprises as teams bound for the playoffs look to start their preparations for the postseason. That can spring up a number of surprises. Take a look at which teams I have tipped to cause upsets in the mega parlay below. And do not forget to check out all o f our NBA predictions too.
This will be a winner take all game between the sides. The Timberwolves would overtake the Pelicans with a win, securing them the 8th seed. However, the Pelicans are set to be a very tough opponent. They have won 8 of their last 10 games, ranking 2nd in the league in net offensive and defensive rating during that time. The Timberwolves are also disadvantages having played last night and this being an early tip off. The hosts also have the worst home record of all the Western Conference teams that will partake in the post season. They have lost 3 of their last 5 games overall and should struggle against a motivated Pelicans squad. The visitors could get up to 5th if they win and results elsewhere go their way.
The last day of the season can provide great value picks and this looks to be one of them. The Chicago Bulls are locked into their postseason position and have nothing to gain tonight. The hosts will have one eye on their play-in games against the Toronto Raptors. The Pistons could cause a surprise as a result. Their top young talents like James Wiseman, Jaden Ivey and Killian Hayes will be taking to the floor looking to end their season on a high. They picked up a win in their last game against the Indiana Pacers and should have a great chance of picking up another win here.
The Denver Nuggets are locked into the top spot in the Western Conference. Despite this, they played a number of starters including Nikola Jokic last night as they fell to the Utah Jazz. With this being their second game in as many days and being an early tip off, look for them to be very cautious with their stars today. Do not be surprised to see them entirely rested or pulled after the first quarter. The Sacramento Kings also have nothing left to play for tonight. A majority of their starters missed their last outing against the Golden State Warriors but are not on the injury report tonight. Do not be surprised to see them push at least 30-minutes of playing time as they look to keep sharp for the post season. Look for the Kings to cover.
