Unfortunately but not surprisingly, the second round of the Masters was unable to be completed on Friday. The storm system moved in during the afternoon, first cancelling play for 20 minutes a little after 3:00 pm ET. Although the golfers briefly got back out on the course, more inclement weather loomed and then a massive tree fell near the hole 17 tee box (thankfully no one was hurt). At that point tournament officials shut things down for the rest of the day.'

As it stands, Brooks Koepka is your outright leader at 12-under par. Koepka is in the clubhouse, while Jon Rahm has gotten it to 9-under through 9 holes. Amateur Sam Bennett, who – along with Koepka – has been the story of the 2023 Masters so far, holds solo third at 8-under and has completed his round.

Given their current standing on the leaderboard and their history as major champions, Koepka and Rahm are overwhelming favorites. But with more bad weather on the way and still more than half the tournament to go, things could get crazy at Augusta National this weekend.
