Nuggets vs. Suns Predictions, Picks & Odds: Can Phoenix Split Season Series?iv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Can the Phoenix Suns take care of business in a meaningless game for the Denver Nuggets on Thursday? Read on for our Nuggets vs. Suns prediction based on the best NBA odds.

With the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference clinched as of Wednesday, the Denver Nuggets have nothing to play for ahead of Thursday's tilt with the Phoenix Suns. Denver's entire starting lineup is now predictably listed as questionable, including stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

As a result, Phoenix (44-35) is now a double-digit favorite after losing two of the first three games to Denver (52-27) earlier this season. The Suns not only want to split the season series, but hope to enter the postseason with some momentum as their new lineup continues to mesh.

Here is our best Nuggets vs. Suns prediction (odds via PointsBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star sca le).

Nuggets vs. Suns prediction

Like most other games during the final week of the regular season, this one is a mess to sort through from a handicapping perspective. Given the uncertainty of Denver's projected lineup, most sportsbooks are only offering player prop markets for the Suns.

Devin Booker leads the Suns in scoring with an average of 28 points per game, but we prefer betting on him to provide an impact in other ways instead of touching his points prop of 26.5. Booker is averaging 5.5 assists and 4.6 rebounds per contest, which would be enough to cash this Over on its own.

Since Durant returned to the lineup on March 29, Booker has averaged six dimes per contest. That makes his assist prop intriguing, especially since we are getting plus-money with a +120 offering a t PointsBet.

Sticking with the same sportsbook, PointsBet's rebound and assist combo prop is actually our best value here. Booker has cleared this number in back-to-back games and in three of his last five contests.

NumberFire's projection of 5.6 assists and 5.1 rebounds for Booker gives us a solid edge on this current line. In a game the Suns should control from start to finish, this Booker prop is worth taking advantage of – if you want to have action on Thursday's matchup.

Nuggets vs. Suns best odds

DraftKings FanDuel BetMGM Caesars PointsBet
Over 10.5 Over 9.5 Over 10.5 Over 10.5 Over 9.5
+105 -132 +110 +108 -130

This line is being offered at 9.5 at only two of our five top-rated sportsbooks, with PointsBet offering the best price at -130 on the Over. Because NumberFire's projections have this closer to 10.7, there is a 6.4% edge by placing this bet at PointsBet.

If this line increases from 9.5, we would recommend looking at Denver's player props when those become available. Rookie wing Christian Braun could have an expanded role, if the Nuggets choose to rest some of their key players. Braun is a player worth targeting in that case, as he has thrived in such scenarios this season.

Nuggets vs. Suns odds analysis

The Suns opened as a 6.5-point favorite, but are now laying 10.5 at most of our top-rated sportsbooks. This much line movement is a result of Denver's entire starting lineup being listed as questionable ahead of what is a meaningless regular-season game.

Oddly enough, the total hasn't moved much with the injury news. The total is now 224 at most shops after opening at 226.5.

So far this season, the Nuggets are 43-36 against the spread and 43-35-1 to the Under. The Suns are 42-36-1 ATS and 39-39-1 on totals.
