Florida Atlantic vs Tennessee Prop Bets
1. Santiago Vescovi – Points: Over 13.5 (-111)
After some inconsistent play to begin the campaign, Santiago Vescovi has elevated his game since February. The Tennessee guard is averaging 13.9 points in his last 12 games, finishing with more than 13.5 in all but two of those contests. Florida Atlantic's defense is solid, but it did just surrender 70 points to No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson. Vescovi is going to do everything he can to help the Vols advance and as long as he continues seeing decent volume (10.8 field-goal attempts in the last 12 games), he'll hit the over along the way.
2. Johnell Davis – 2+ Threes Made (+138)
While FAU's Johnell Davis isn't known for his perimeter performance, he's shooting a respectable 38.8% from beyond the arc this season. He's also finished with at least 2 three-pointers in 11 of his last 23 games. Tennessee boasts solid defense across the board but has allowed an uncharacteristic 7.3 threes on 33.3% shooting over its last three contests. Once Davi s catches fire, he's tough to stop. As long as the Owls keep feeding the ball to their best player, he should be productive enough on the outside.
3. First-Half Total – Under 58.5 Points (-104)
One thing that both Florida Atlantic and Tennessee have in common is a strong first-half defense. While the Owls only allow an average of 30.0 points by halftime, the Volunteers rank No. 2 in the country with 26.6 first-half points against per game. The two sides have also seen a combined average of just 55 first-half points in their 2022-23 NCAA Tournament contests thus far, further proving that bettors shouldn't expect a ton of offense ahead of halftime.
