The Brooklyn Nets currently find themselves on a 3-game losing streak in the NBA. That has pulled them right back into the play-in race in the Eastern Conference. The Miami Heat are just a game behind at the moment. Things will not get an easier tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The visitors do find themselves relatively safe in 4th, but will be keen to take great moment into this years playo ffs.
You can find all of our NBA picks here but for now check out my Nets vs Cavaliers parlay below.
Over the last 10 games Cameron Johnson has been averaging 16.4 points per game. And while he will be going up one of the stronger defensive teams in the league this season, he should play a major role on offense. Johnson will have a size and length advantage over the Cavaliers wings tonight, which should help him get his shot off with efficiency here.
If Jarrett Allen returns to the lineup, it will give the Cavaliers plenty of size to pack the paint with. That should make it difficult for the Nets to score inside. Look for them to turn to Johnson on the perimeter. In all but 1 game in March, more than 50% of his attempts have come from deep. With the Cavaliers 23rd in opponent 3-point percentage this season, Johnson should thrive. Multiple makes from deep will set him up well to reach the 20-point mark for the second time in 4 games.
