Milwaukee Brewers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 8-24-2022

The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers will decide the two-game split in Wednesday’s finale of their ensuing three-game series. Milwaukee dominated defensively in the opener and shut down Los Angeles’ prolific offense. However, on Tuesday night, the Dodgers responded in kind with a blowout victory. Adrian Houser is slated to start on the mound at pitcher for the Brewers against Dodgers’ lefty Andrew Heaney.

That series-opening shutout victory was obviously an anomaly at Dodger Stadium. Granted, that isn’t to say the Brewers aren’t capable of making things tough on the Dodgers’ batters, but they clearly weren’t handing another goose egg to the No. 1-ranked run-scoring offense in back-to-back games.

An angry Dodgers team showed up and made them pay for that first victory by hanging 10 runs on the scoreboard.

The first order of business for the Brewers is snapping out of being shell-shocked from Tuesday’s loss. They’ve already defeated Andrew Heaney once before, and they won’t have to deal with Tony Gonsolin, who is throwing with more fire than a Dracarys sneeze.

But Adrian Houser has struggled pitching on the road this season, and the Dodgers have the Mike Tyson touch at the plate. They can put a pitcher&#x2019 ;s lights out in one inning. Houser is throwing a 5.89 ERA with a 2-4 record when playing away from Milwaukee.

He could run into trouble in this matchup.
