The Tampa Bay Lightning face the New Jersey Devils with both teams looking to build off great seasons. The Lightning have a 39-22-6 record which is third best in the Atlantic Division but hope to improve after winning only three of their last 10 games. The Devils have a 44-16-6 record and with three wins in a row have leaped into first place in the Metropolitan Division. Both teams look to improve in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

Hedman and Sergachev have combined for 7.5 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. The bright spot has been the play of goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy who has a .914 save percentage and a 2.70 goals-against average on 1564 shots with 13. 3 goals saved above average.
